In this issue, we are will be completing the kEshavAdi viShNu mUrti series. They are very popular in the pAncarAtra sampradaya and mAdhava saMpradAyas. Each Murti is supposed to be sporting a permutation and combination for the 4 weapons viz padmA (lotus), Shank, Chakra, and Gadha. Last issue, we have covered the vidhAnams of the first 9 mUrtIs. In this issue, we will cover the mantra japA and AvaraNa pUjA paddhathi for the next three mUrtI’s viz hRuShikEShA, padmAnAbhA, and dAmOdharA. They are part of lalitOpAkhyAnA in that they are situated in the mANikhya maNTapA after the gem forts of shrinagarA.
The mIna rAshi AvaraNa is included as the continuation of the rAshi (mAsa) series. This AvaraNa can be performed along with the amAvAsya pUjA. With this, the rAshi series is completed.
