In this issue, we are continuing the caturviMshati (24) viShNu mUrti series. They are very popular in the pAncarAtra sampradaya and mAdhava saMpradAyas. Each Murti is supposed to be sporting a permutation and combination for the 4 weapons viz padmA (lotus), Shank, Chakra, and Gadha. Last issue, we covered the vidhAnams of the first 6 mUrtIs. In this issue, we will cover the mantra japA and AvaraNa pUjA paddhathi for the next three mUrtI’s viz trivikramA, vAmanA, and shrIdharA. They are part of lalitOpAkhyAnA in that they are situated in the mANikhya maNTapA after the gem forts of shrinagarA.
The kumbha rAshi AvaraNa is included as the continuation of the rAshi (mAsa) series. This AvaraNa can be performed along with the amAvAsya pUjA.
